Our Staff

Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai International, a globally recognized organization, boasts a widespread presence established in many states across the USA. Founded by the esteemed late head director Shihan Fumio Demura, who frequently visited branches in the USA and worldwide, our commitment to spreading the art of Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai is unwavering.

In Florida, our dedicated director, Sensei Keith Moore, based in West Palm Beach, hailing from Syracuse, New York, is passionate about sharing his expertise in Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai with individuals of all ages, genders, abilities, and races.

Our carefully selected instructors, chosen for their proficiency in the art and dedication to teaching, undergo weekly classes facilitated by high-ranking experts from Japan. Adhering to the same standards as Japan Karate-do Genbu-kai, our commitment is evident through our exchange programs, where Japanese experts visit our group, and our members frequent schools in Japan.

Amidst the varied karate studios in Florida, Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Genbu-Kai International ensures that our instructors, all accomplished black belts, stand out for their reliability and qualification to impart the most effective methods.

Beyond being a premier facility for self-defense and martial arts techniques, Japan Karate-Do Genbu-Kai of Florida embodies discipline and control. Our organization goes beyond developing self-defense skills, extending its influence to various aspects of daily life. Focused on character development for the youth and strength for mature adults, our teachings foster courage in women and instill respect in men. Additionally, our programs contribute to maintaining physical fitness, mental well-being, and intellectual prowess, blending traditional Japanese values with contemporary Western lifestyles.
